  • An introduction and characterization of the different foundation types for bottom-mounted offshore wind turbines is given.

Wave Loads

  • Wave loads as the main hydrodynamic loading component are explained and the most important influences from interacting
    aero-dynamic loads are shown.

Scour

  • Scouring effects and scour protection types are introduced.

DAY 2

Grid Connection

Transport and control of power

  • During the course different aspects regarding the wind power penetration in DK will be considered, as for instance:
  • Problems about the balancing the power at large wind power penetrations
  • Requirements in the grid codes for connection of wind farm, regarding power, voltage and frequency control and fault ride through capabilities.
  • Reliability analysis of the produced wind power
